Summer generally turns one’s thoughts to beer. And here I have two major ingredients almost at the ready – hops and water, with my prize plant growing rampantly beside the water tank. Though as you can see, it’s still not beer drinking weather yet. It remains cold and miserable. I know Summer will arrive shortly, and then we will drink in earnest.
Oddly enough the sticky distraction in the bottom left hand corner is my grape vine. It looks pretty sorry, a shame because it’s more the weather for red…really!

Glad I’m not the only one getting rain this summer. I’ve never seen a hops plant before so thanks for completing my education 🙂
